Raymond Benedict "Ray" McCarey (September 6, 1904 – December 1, 1948) was an American film director. He began working at Hal Roach Studios, where he did work on short films with Our Gang and Laurel and Hardy. Most of his feature film work consisted of "B" pictures and low-budget films. He directed 62 films between 1930 and 1948.
He was the brother of director Leo McCarey.
